G'day, all! I recently received this bottle of RR Blind Pig from a former coworker who got it from his brother in Denver who bought it for him without knowing what it was. Well, I thought about having a beer but another cup of coffee won out in the end because I needed to warm up. It's 13 degrees F outside with a brisk wind. We ended up getting about 6 inches of snow overnight, but I just finished cleaning it up so done with that for the day - I'll let the sun do the rest even though it will remain cold all day. I'll be back with a beer soon - cheers!!

Still below zero though will meet single digits. Wasn't bad the several minutes I was out today, won't do much more. Pulled this one from the cellar, plan on a couple a week until it's warm again.

2025 Cellar Review thread link here. I'm enjoying this substantially more than last year, even though stored in similar conditions, but fresh is still best as usual.

I finished the 20 day full Breaking Bad + Better Call Saul 12 season marathon over the past three weeks. Never binged series before, don't watch TV much, but these two were very good. I never enjoyed a series where I hated most of the characters (their persona, not their acting/story) like I did in Breaking Bad.

Saul was one of my favorite BB characters, and really enjoyed BCS as well, though enjoyed the final two seasons more than the slower first four seasons and dragged out stories on the brother, law firm and Mike's sister in law.

Back to doing the work I want to complete this Winter, continuing with an electrician to help install a ceiling fan. I don't mess with electricity.

It was cold as hell, like 2 degrees with the wind chill, but I've got a good selection of cold weather gear to keep me warm. As long as my feet and hands are warm it's not too bad. My boots are good to 30 below zero supposedly and my mittens are heavy duty. They're Cabelas Trans Alaska Elite and they really keep your hands warm. I also wear a good pair of insulated ski pants. Cheers!!!



My snowblower is a beast, actually a commercial Ariens model (DLE1332) with a 13 HP Kohler engine and a 32" wide intake.
