Thanks to @Shanex for opening the virtual bar just in time for me to visit after work. Doing some Cellaruary work here and trying to get sleepy after a 3p to 3a shift...

2022 Narwhal is tasting pretty mellow after 30 or so months in the bottle. Cheers all!

Could use some of that Crete warmth here in Chicago today @Shanex . Balmoral Park Race Track (RIP) in Crete, Illinois is the closest I came to visiting where you have enjoyed.

Pulled my first home cellar pull for Cellaruary after kicking off my participation with a cellared keg on Sunday. This is one of my favorite beers on Earth.

Full Cellaruary treatment linked here. WBAYDN treatment, a fresh version was scored near perfect and 5.0 overall by me in 2020. This is a solid offering today, but after nearly five years, it definitely loses the complexity and freshness a fresher version would yield.

Lucky for me I'm currently enjoying 75° South Florida sunshine. Recent experiences included Garfield Gardens, Biltmore Hotel, and Flamingo Gardens, where wifey fed flamingos and ibis. And of course this well made and highly enjoyable Tripping Animals selection among some of my bestest flora friends. Hope to check in from Key Largo later. Cheers!

Having a GO NA The Story Double IPA .. reasonably satisfactory when you can't have the real deal.As with a lot of NA brews, the aroma leaves something to be desired.

 

I Don't Talk Trash hazy ipa at Infinite Ale Works.

Boy, I actively disliked that one. Found it to be really muted, almost iced-tea-like. Found their "tropical hazy" IPA much more palatable.
