Taking a page out of @LarryV handbook,trying Lindemanns framboise mixed with yards porter. I believe Larry used store imperial which I think would work better but this is good. Paired with toasted coconut and raspberry cookies.
As some of you know my life took a painful turn recently so I am trying to invest in the things that aren't broken. Baking,beer, among many other things that have kept me busy

 

Jalapeño Saison from On Rotation brewing in Dallas.

My wife had business in Dallas this week and On Rotation was near her hotel. Last night she bought me a couple of crowlers. An old hand filled the first, demonstrating to the new guy how to do it. The new guy filled the saison, his first ever. (He even misdated it. Lol) It got banged in my wife’s car on the trip home and dropped half of itself in the cooler bag.

Still had some carbonation by the time I pried the cap off this evening to pour it. About 16 oz left. A very tasty saison. The jalapeño was there, but not upfront.

 

The grapevine is long and lush. I’m glad you’re still here engaging with us heathens.
