    Hello! It's Saturday (well, almost the end of Saturday here), and I've spent a gorgeous day brewing beer and soaking up the rays while they still beat down.

    There was a slight drama when a bee stung me (it shouldn't have been in the vicinity of my feet...), but it was nothing a deal of cursing, an antihistamine, and a big old NEIPA didn't fix.

    The particular NEIPA was Cyber Goth Dance Party by Rocky Ridge, a brewery from over in Western Australia. This beer was brewed well over 2,000km from my front door. Oh, the wonders of modern logistics!

    Here's hoping your Saturday is as warm but more bee-free than mine!

    Seeing as today is International Women's Day, let's a have a beer celebrating the occasion. This is Bitter Britta, brewed by localish brewery Klackabackens in collaboration with Fermenistas, a gathering of women and non-binary people in the local brewing community. I raise my glass to them, and hoping fo a more inclusive society, in beer and otherwise.
