Yes. My wife joined years ago. We used to get two bottles a month. My wife drank wine. We never really took advantage of the free birthday lunches or other stuff.

Anyway, I have not been drinking a lot of wine (tonight excluded) so I cut the membership back to one bottle a month. My son-in-law is usually the happy recipient of it.

 

Was super-windy here. Loads of dust/soot in the air from Oklahoma/Texas. We got off light, but I swear I can smell & taste a little dirt/dust

Central Waters Single Barrel Brewer’s Reserve Stout. Pumped finding this new one from CW on the shelf today, but have to say I’m a tad underwhelmed after high expectations. Wondering what kind of barrels were used, and an age statement would be nice. Not a bad beer, but was expecting something special.

 

Yes, the fires in OK are pretty pervasive, yet not as devastating as the LA fires. Still!

I suppose that Saturdays weather will be a bit east of you, and
forecasted to be problematic.

 

Another newbie. I hit up a beer store I've never been to. It was 90% IPAs but that's the state of the scene today.

 

I ate a pizza pie today since I did not plan for pi day. Hoping to get a discount on a dessert pie tomorrow at the store so maybe it might cost me $1.5708

Glass vs glass side by side — teku vs SA Perfect Pint — with The Veil white ferrari, brewed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Heavy on the oat character with plenty of hops. Smells better from the teku, tastes better from the SA PP. Toss-up!!
