    Hmmmm... I've never had that problem. I do strongly recommend anything made by Weissbierbrauerei G. Schneider & Sohn.


    Especially Schneider-Weisse Unser Aventinus Tap 6. What a wonderful beer. They make the best wheat beers I've had..

    Sadly very true. I love good German lagers on tap, but I absolutely never buy bottles anymore. :slight_frown:

    Edit: I have bought an occasional bottle, including Weihenstephaner, but it's pretty rare that I do so. Besides, so many good fresh beers I don't have to worry about! (My earlier Sculpin experience today notwithstanding.)

    LMAO....wrong site's link. Schneider Aventinus is very good, but I don't think about that when talking lagers. Even though its' a weizenbock, it's more like a double hefe.

    Saw this for the first time in my bottle shop and was so excited! Then saw it was canned on Nov 13, 2013. Still super enjoyable though and glad I finally got a chance to try it.

    The wife called me at work and asked me, "which one of the beers in the fridge would you want me to use in this recipe for London Broil in the slow cooker?"
    Me: Ummm, well, I don't think I would want you to use any of them.
    Her: How about this stout {MBC Mean Old Tome}...
    Me: Fuck NO!
    Her: This Reckoning something {Troegs Dead Reckoning}...
    Me: No.
    Her: Well how about this Stone Levitation?
    Me: Sure if you don't mind some hoppy meat!
    Well, let's just say dinner was super tasty folks! And of course I had to have the last bottle of Levitation I had with dinner to accompany it!
