    This dark Lager is almost pushing porter style wise.
    Very dark roast with some chocolate and nuttiness, little hop presence. It's pretty good, but not what I was expecting. It finishes nice and crisp, as a lager should.

    I really appreciate the easy to read bottled on date on the back with the rest of the pertinent info.

    Another Swami's for the Hunter. July 2, 1996 is a date I'll always remember. I told my mother in June of that year that she should wait outside the record store and mail me a CD the same day. I was in Japan and knew that the island wouldn't see it for at least two weeks after release. Bumping this classic project in real time was a serious flex. Probably the most anticipated sophomore release from any rapper in hip-hop history. Peace...

    I used to be able to get their Lager back in the 90's in my area. I really enjoyed that beer. I'm upset that it's no longer available near me.
    Although I doubt it tastes like it did back then, but who knows?
    It wasn't expensive either.
