Well, I thought @Beersnake 's New Beer Weekend thread would be kept open through Monday post Easter, but it was not to be. Will save that planned beer for next weekend, and pair this cellar beer with lunch followed by a big nap now that the Sox game is over. Hoping Montreal fares better tonight in D.C.. This is my final bottle of this selection, sad because it's as lovely as a Summer day.

Trying this porter next

 

I've said it before, this might be the best Bamberg-style smoked beer by a US brewer. Could easily mistake this for a Schlenkerla offering if tasted blind. The smoke profile is spot on.
