B E E R !! ...as soon as my guttering/downspout crew to show up and I get them rolling down the right path. I sent them home ystrdy 'cause they showed up at 2:00 and I had my truck work going on. Then a fella shows up to give a bid for pressure washing our house. He threw the number $800 at me. I very nicely escorted him OFF MY PROPERTY and had the wyfe hire the 1st wash contractor who bid $300. FFS! Rant complete. I'll give the gutter crew 2 hrs then I'm moving my truck back to rotate tires.

Sidewards Brewing Moon Boots IPA at Weiner Wednesday. Today we are giving you a delicious BBQ chicken dog, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and bacon served with a side of sweet potato casserole!

My condo outside thermometer reads 88° in the shade…at least there’s a cool breeze. I finish filling up the car, then head home to disgorge…cheers y’all!

A Speedway Stout to kick off Wet-Your-Whistle Wednesday BA

1) Augustiner Brau Edelstoff (5.7%): A European Dortmunder lager with flavors of pale Munich malt, sweet honeyflower notes.
versus
2) Veltins Grevensteiner (5.2%): A German Kellerbier with flavors of grains, bread, yeast, and light honey and caramel notes. Dry. (Mismatched the two blind)

German Dortmunder vs Kellerbier Battle. First is Augustiner Edelstoff. Sweet honeyflower flavors and earthy Munich malts. Outstanding beer.
Next is Veltins Grevensteiner, a kellerbier which is unfiltered. Pours darker. More bread and yeast notes. Drier and cleaner as well.
Both are fantastic and Kellerbiers are one of my favorite German styles, but so are Dortmunder lagers. Today, slightly prefer the honey flavors in Edelstoff.
Winner: Augustiner Edelstoff

 

Taking shit up a notch here ba. All citra everything, ddh iipa, OH. Will be buying and popping this on the regular,
