    My dad was an engineer at Buddy L when I was a child and I got to be a toy tester. This was 60 years ago. I would go with my dad and they'd have me play with the new toys they were planning on coming out with to see which ones I preferred playing with the most.

    Honestly, I have not - still a solid beer as always. Cans don't really specify where it was canned - just says Canned and Brewed by Wormtown Brewery Worcester MA and Framingham MA.

    But if I didn't know about the merger, I wouldn't notice any difference. This summer wheat is pretty good and sessionable at 4.5% ABV. And the new one, Jalapenito - I think is really good.

    Clear, golden yellow body; dense, fine-bubble carbonation; thick, lasting head, white with a rolling, creamy texture. Fantastic nose; light cereal grain notes infused with apple-like and floral esters. The taste comes on fully balanced and clean; light, biscuit-like flavor, a bit of pome fruit esters, and a very gentle and complementary hop bitterness. Medium bodied mouthfeel; warm on the palate; a nice complementary dryness to the residual sugar density.

    Man, what a fantastic pilsner! Depth and balance and complexity belie its seemingly simple character, but there is much to love and explore with this beer. Well-crafted and highly recommended.

    ...the very gracious @Ocalafox (Vann and May) surprised us with some miniature roses in memory of my departed sister...a truly fine gesture...Mrs. BeerGoot and I actually picked up a rose bush (Coral Cove) that we'll plant out by the 'Fortress of Solitude'...Vann and May's rose bush can be either indoor or outdoor, but chances are I'll plant that one outside, too...

    ...and I now have a FL beer chilling to toast V&M: my favorite local beer emporium has been carrying Cycle beers of late, so while Mrs. BG plays cards, Oscar (aka 'Thundering Rodent') and I are doing the bachelor thing this afternoon...I foresee an auxiliary vice being present when the Cycle Beer is cracked open :grin:...
