Drinking a Summerfest after finishing up my packaging of 13 lbs of homemade bacon. Also put some homemade chorizo on the smoker, which I’m now using to top a pizza. Salute!

This stuff I had never seen or heard of. Massive Triple IPA that actually slides down rather easy. Sierra Hoptimum?

 

Bummed to hear that they’re closing. Trying to scheme a way to get there one more time before that happens, but not sure I’ll be able to. Cycle was a pretty significant part of my craft beer journey.

Enjoying a second WCIPA from Xul. They have a pretty decent setup in Knoxville at the I-40 location and have some nice guest taps (including a killer Barrique-Good Word German Pilsner collaboration) along with a food truck that makes pretty solid burgers.

And I have a bresaola hanging that’ll be done in two weeks.

Of course, I’m mostly vegetarian, ha. But when I want meat, I want good shit.
