What beer are you drinking now? #4587

G'day all!

I finished mowing this morning so all that's left is some weed killing. I will pick up a couple of containers of them later today. If I am in the mood.

Good Belgo-Style Pale Ale, I reckon. I gave it a decent rating. Of course, the bottom line for me for any beer is...would I seek it out. Not really, for this one. There's beers that I have had that I rated much higher and still, would not seek out. Again. Shrugs.

I'm back with a staple for this year so far. Canned March 24th, I find myself buying a lot more of the Torpedo than the currently available Summerfest. I find that the latter is not hitting the notes quite as well as last year.

Godspeed released a new one yesterday. "Buh", which is a Czech Style Pale Lager, a collaboration with Czechvar. I picked a couple of cans to review later.

A German Style Dunkel (5.6% ABV)

I am not big fan of being served in plastic cup but the beer is good. The list tends towards IPAs which are not my thing but they do a line of German classic styles. I picked up some cans for later.

 

I guess according to @Dimidiata , Sunday is for Barleywine. Thanks to @cheeseheadinMinneapolis for it.

I still think this beer is the best IPA in Georgia.

Another cool, mid 60’s rainy day on tap. Probably hit the international market later today. Absolutely loving the rainy cool weather! Cheers and enjoy your Mother’s Day!

After a year of not brewing this decade long seasonal release, it is more hoppy with citrus flavor the predominate enhancement. The clove and traditional Belgian Pale flavors were dialed back this release, or perhaps the citrus flavor covers it up. I personally enjoyed the OG formula better, but also enjoyed this for what it is and glad it returned. Glad you enjoyed it, though perhaps not as much as hoped.
