    Never been to Crete, even though I've always wanted to. It's insane how sunny and warm it's been here for the last week. I just don't get it. I feel like I have not enjoyed the full British experience. Not a drop of rain and hardly any cloud cover? I want my money back

    Haha. Same around Paris as the weather typically isn’t different because of proximity.
    You won’t hear me complaining about that as the past winter has been full on clouds and rain, even some snow, but I get your jest…

    This one was from yesterday's WBAYDN, and I just wanted to compliment @Mickeyharris on his music taste! :grin:

    @Shanex, it must be our fault, because we had our first hot summer in five years this year. We must have pushed the cold stuff up to you!

    And now on to today's beers. The first one I had at the local footy while watching the mighty South Barwon give Geelong West a good old-fashioned touch-up; the second was enjoyed in front of the teev watching Geelong give Port Adelaide a good old-fashioned bath. The footy Gods have smiled on me today, but they are a fickle mob, and I expect full retribution next weekend.

    Good day BAs! @The_Kriek_Freak - LOVE London - it's my favorite big city - great beer, decent food, and we can almost understand the language! If you have the time, you may want to check out Belgo Centraal - Belgian food and beer.

    Who Runs Bartertown? from Sierra Nevada Brewing. Purchased from Sierra Nevada on-line, 25/04/25. 16 fl oz can, $8.64 (Including shipping), $ 0.54/fl oz. Reviewed 17/05/25 (Review 3528). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
    Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label artist. The wheat and oats give this a smooth, almost silky, mouthfeel – the high point of the brew. Aroma and flavor are weak and flowery, distinctly lacking any citrusy input from the citra or comet hops. The well-hidden ethanol is the only hint of an imperial IPA.
