    Big 14% abv. Brewed with almonds, Amorena cherries, aged in French oak casks, rested on raspberries. Astounding.,.

    I just got my glass today, but haven't figured out what beer to use it for yet. Just seems like an odd glass to me, and it's definitely not my favorite. I definitely think it's more for a stout or a sipping beer. Cheers!!

    ...got travel arrangements made today for Mrs. BeerGoot and myself to travel back to Mansfield, Ohio for my sisters burial on June 7th...Oscar (aka 'Thundering Rodent' will be doing time at Woofland (aka 'Shawshank Redemption Kennel') in Colorado Springs while we're gone...it'll be a short and bittersweet occasion with the Ohio visit...commemorating my younger sister and her truly fabulous life while also mourning her all-to-soon departure from this mortal coil...it will be good to reconnect with her family as well as my other brothers and sisters (all the same)...

    Quick dinner before the youngest runs his school triathlon this evening. In the water at 6:36pm. Same kid pitched 3 innings of one run ball and had the game tying RBI I. His baseball game today. Head Hunter for me. Cheers!

    Hey folks!

    20k run this morning, on a beautiful day before the wind started blasting again.

    Went to see off this year's seniors in my program (on sabbatical) as they start baccalaureate and commencement weekend, and now...?

    absolutely demolishing this last can of (Cellarmaker) Dripping Tap IPA - this beer has been one of the highlights of 2025 for me.

    Unfortunately, I'm well and truly old enough to remember that! The first game I clearly recall attending was round 1, 1982, Geelong v Collingwood at VFL Park. I have very vague memories of a game from some time before that.
