Club Raul is definitely open. And it is asking French delegate @Shanex to show up for duty:

I can recall having a Pilsner Urquell in 2018 - before they made two changes - switching from green bottles to brown, and also shipping the beer cold to America. Before that, they even thought about stopping shipping to the US as a whole because of the lack of quality the beer suffered in getting here. Back to 2018 though; yes, the beer definitely wasn’t as good as it is now. I remember that it tasted ok, but it had a really bad syrupy finish to it. Definitely a one and done beer. Or something you’d be ok with at an event like a concert or a sports game. Now they are easy to crush. Cheers!

Beyond possibly at a festival, I've never had an Urban Roots beer. My curiosity has risen after Julian's departure from a favorite brewery of mine (Beachwood) to Urban Roots, without any significant public acknowledgment as to why.

I'll try to find their beers down the road, and hope Beachwood has been left in good hands with their tenured employees. Not sure how precarious their financial situation is since the closure of their primary brewery and brewpub.

Speaking of closures, Revolution closed their OG Brewpub and brewery space, but the Deep Woods Program is alive and well on Kedzie Avenue.

Charlie @GuyFawkes , this is drinking great, a bit boozy and more sweet than the OG, which like most I prefer over the variants.

Morning, BAs! A little bit of spillage, but I liked the picture anyway. Apparently, this one is a grower not a shower.

    G'day all!

I'm sipping, again, on one of my favourites.
I need to pick up more before it is gone for the season.

    Prost!

Duvel Tripel Top Citra. It is really is lousy pour week here. Glass has been in the dishwasher a couple of days ago. However, Tripel Hop tends to be a bit murky compared to the regular.
Despite the looks, taste is great
    Cheers

Third Anniversary beer from Mountain Hops Brewhouse.
IMHO, it was better fresh. Some astringent note are noticeable but still quite drinkable ...err...sippable.

    Prost!
