    Likely a slow thread post holiday.

    This pull brings me to 7 cases of cellar beers left, reaching my goal pre-Summer Vegas trip. Also closes the book on this vintage, with one 2020 four pack left.

    This is the stillest pour I can ever recall.

    Can’t go wrong with a classic Lagunitas Coffee Stout… good choice @ChicagoJ and thanks for being one of the few « survivor » of yesterdays madness. We all raised our glass even me as an outsider to American vets.

    Still enjoying the iris around here. Internet was out last night so here is light local brew for the sunshine-- Larraveza Mexican-style Pale Lager.

    Mouthfeel is substantial for a low-ABV beer and spritzy. Some malty sweetness with a tangy finish. Flavors of cereal and cornbread, everything lightly sprinkled with sugar. The aftertaste hints at hops and stems but it is all quite mellow. Still, there's a just enough of an edge and a hint of lemon peel to keep it drinkable.

    Howdy folks. Back to the salt mines I suppose for many. My drum world is quiet for a few days here. In fact this week is mellow for me thank goodness. Should be able to enjoy some beers. Had a couple last nite when I returned home from the West Bank. I dunno how it's possible but that area keeps getting worse and worse. Ankle-deep third world rubbish. Completely revolting. I'll spend a good hour today cleaning ALL of my drum gear except the cymbals. This task requires a beer and both of my beer fridges are stuffed with not dead crafty brews and a couple of AALs. Enjoying this Modist Supra Light Japanese style Light Lager and also the recent splash of tasty Polish beers that are gracing some retail shelves here. Cheers!!

    I love the success stories of "one man's trash is another man's treasure".
    One of mine is finding and getting a drum for $100. A few days later I used it for a two-nighter and made $1675. I used it last night. Cheers to the Swifty!!:beers:

    Brew Your Mind Human Experiment Fifty-Six at Constellation in Budapest. It is an excellent WCIPA.

    Constellation is a brand new bistro fhat BYM opened with Budapest brewery Gravity Brewing. Two excellent breweries and excellent food to boot. I’m gonna spend my whole trip here :joy::joy:

    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 3.75

    Clear, golden body; decent carbonation; thick, sculpted, white head. Okay smell; subdued and not very distinctive; faint hint of spiciness. Great flavor; mild malt backbone with a delightful hop spiciness; pine resin; a touch of biscuit. Medium mouthfeel; nice mix of lager smoothness with lightly raspy hop sharpness; a pinch of dryness.

    A nice take on a hoppy, spicy west coast pilsner. Nice combined elements of an India pale ale and German pilsner.

    This is Brew Your Mind Human Experiment Fifty-Five, a hazy DIPA. Another solid BYM beer. Also pictured: the remains of my csirkelepény (basically a fancy chicken sandwich), which was amazing.
