Kicking off Sunday with Eggs Benedict b4 we head to the Sunday farmer’s market - which I look forward to every weekend. What a scene!
Have a great day all! Pop tops!

Here’s a couple minutes of ‘Exotica’ from 1956:

Sometimes seems weird to go from one WBAYDN thread to another in between beers...thanks @MadMadMike!

About to go take a little train trip so pre-hydrating a bit with a 4.5% Arany Korsó. This is a store-brand lager that goes for about 76 cents a can, and, uh, is worth every penny I guess :joy:.

@snaotheus With two west coasters in the eastern hemisphere, the real action in WBAYDN has really moved from the end to the start of the thread, eh? :innocent:

@Shanex I did watch the Champions league final and it was total domination by the Paris team! Congratulations! Paris and France deserved it!

Just got home from a red eye after a week out in the desert for some work and play. As is my post red eye tradition, having a nice Bourbon County for a breakfast beer before a long (not quite) winter’s nap.

Jómadár kölsch on the patio at Helka Brewing in Balatonföldvár. Perfect beer for a day like this.

Lake Balaton has been the #1 summer destination for Hungarians for … a century maybe? And there’s no wondering why.

Full review linked above, New Beer Sunday #1058 treatment linked here. Bottom line, love Speedway Stout, but the BA treatment not as much. Just because you can do something doesn't necessarily mean you should it.

Inspired by one of @champ103 's always excellent album selections on Saturday. If there is a heaven, and even more remote if I'm invited, I will be attending the daily Emmylou concert in the front row.

Not one of my favourite styles but this one is pretty good. Reviewed over a the NBW thread.

Sajka cherry beer at Helka. I’m a sucker for cherry beers and, luckily for me, they are very popular in Hungary.

I waffled between a picture that made the beer look better, or made the amazing setting look better … the beer won out, of course :beers:

    G'day all!

New month for Buzztime trivia, not a new beer for me. This is one that I prefer to drink on the warmer side. Got to get them nuances.

Good day BAs! Thanks @MadMadMike for opening the bar!

There's a bright light in the sky that we rarely see in these parts - maybe I can finally transplat my gong bao peppers! Today's New Breakfast Beer:
