New Belgium Rampant, I asked the lady at the liquor store to order some New Belgium LaFolie and Prairie Bomb...haven't tasted either one but they sound right up my alley...we shall see.

In the meantime... some nice Iced Earth:wink:

Loving them both, Zombie has a maltier backbone but I love the light citrus/floral flavor of hop ranch too.

An Enjoy By the second I got out of work. And I mean the second.

So fresh, so good. Usually drink the dark stuff this time of year but this is just...perfect.

    Happy Friday!

First of the night, after some cleaning & leakproofing / volume measuring for my whirlpool arm installation, tested out the pump again and called it a night on all work-related things. My Spiegelau glasses arrived early, couldn't think of a better way to celebrate!

This arrived just in time for the weekend. Bottled 1/10/14. First time with this too, very nice, lots of Simcoe and way too drinkable for 8%.

Girlfriend surprised me with a bottle of Cacaonut for our 2 year anniversary. We had previously tried it at the Bruery and it was good (thinking back, it did have a slightly tart/sour finish at the time, but we liked it). The infection quickly took over because this bottle was an acidic, sour mess. UNDRINKABLE! We drain-poured everything after a few sips.

She got it from a local bottleshop and since it's not a normal Bruery shelf beer, we can't get a credit for it. I feel bad because I know she overpaid since she wanted to do something nice for us.

Next up, sushi, then Russian River takeover to enjoy some non-cacaonut sours.
