A big happy birthday to @Blogjackets and @GreenBayBA. Two top notch BA's right there!

Drinking an Outer Range Aerials WC IPA (Cashmere/Mosaic). Lemon zest, ruby red grapefruit flesh and peel, tangerine, honeydew melon, slight berry, some diesel, pine resin. Bready malts balance it out with a dry and firm bitterness. A solid brew.

1) BlackStack Wedding Season: 3rd Anniversary (8.2% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota/Colorado with Citra, Simcoe, and HBC 1019 for flavors of orange juice, pineapple, mango juice.
versus
2) BlackStack Extra Mustard (8.5% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota/Illinois with Mosaic Cryo, Experimental HBC 638 & Strata Hyperboost for flavors of bright orange, grapefruit, pineapple, juicy mango. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

BlackStack DIPA Battle featuring some Weldwerks and Hop Butcher. First is Wedding Season, a collab with Weldwerks. Weldwerks always hits the orange flavor home well. Same here with the HBC 1019. Lots of orange juice, even some mango often from Blackstack.
Next is Extra Mustard, a collab with Hop Butcher. Slightly larger ABV. More grapefruit and zest from the Strata. Pretty fresh and going to let it settle out a bit but could be really good.
Extra Mustard is TBD, but this BlackStack/Weldwerks collab is outstanding.

Like most of us living in the Eastern US and roasting in 90+ temps, i am laying low. Currently checking out the newest "Big Little Thing" Hazy from my local in Mills River. This is too boozy at 9.5 with some hop burn on the back end, not overly agreeing with my palate. But maybe i'm sensitive since it is Monday.

@runbirddrinkbeer i just had a major landscaping project completed so am trying to keep all the newbies (100+) alive and kicking but most days i am done by 10:00 with the watering as the mountain sun is pretty intense as the day wears on.
Staying in the SNBC realm, nice follow-up to the disappointing first round.

Blind Corner Earned Descent IPA (Citra, Krush, Mosaic). Orange pop without all the sweetness, ripe valencia orange, basil, mango, orange pith, some floral, some pineapple, slight resin. Bright, spritzy, and dry. A hazy crusher. Highly enjoyable.
