11 years at BA sounds like purposeful building of good karma to me. Cheers.

 

1) Phase Three Magnetic (8.0% canned 3/31/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Nelson, Motueka, and Riwaka for flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, and white grape.
versus
2) Toppling Goliath Scorpius Morchella (8.4% canned 4/14/25): A NEIPA from Iowa with Pacific NW and Southern Hemisphere hop blend for flavors of mixed berry medley, tropical grape and green melon, and notes of mango. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Phase Three vs. Toppling Goliath IPA Battle. Did this battle a month ago and Toppling Goliath won. First is Phase Three Magnetic. Great hop combo and starting to hit that 3 month mark and mellow out a bit. Still, fantastic Southern Hemisphere flavors of white grape.
Next is Toppling Goliath Scorpius Morchella. Similar Southern Hemisphere hop flavors altogether. These two are very similar.
I really liked Scorpius Morchella when fresh, but Phase Three Magnetic has been incredibly impressive and one of my favorites from Phase Three.
Winner: Phase Three Magnetic

Hey Hey BAs! We drove into Vermont and the first brewery was “Closed Due To Heat”…it was 87°!!! *******! We drove to the next brewery and it was closed too!!

We ended up driving to Montpelier, and we’re drinking at a large craft beer bar on the river - starting with a flight:


From L to R, an AAL, a hazy pale, a hazy DIPA, and last but not least a Sip of Sunshine, all on tap.

We’ll probably hang here and drink a bit. We hit the road at 6am to drive up into the mountains to beat today’s heat wave, so we’re wearing down.

Tim, Rek-Lis in Bethlehem was closed today “Due To Heat”… I wasn’t sure where we were even going to be this far today (we were thinking we would stay overnight in North Woodstock), but somebody wanted to push on to Montpelier.

All good and not being a pain by any means, I had the exact same question and mentioned that in my review of the beer. They're convoluting things for sure.

 

Town Hall Masala Mama IPA w scrappy smoked jalapeno turkey brats, pepper jack, chipotle cremosa.

 

Having another one of these thirst quenchers ...

Pale Ale #2 most likely my last for tonight.

It seems to take forever to get any significant increase in karma points since the last time the algorithm was updated. My karma stays the same for months and months regardless of my activities on the site. I have no idea what people are doing to get big karma points.
