What beer are you drinking now? #4633

Having a Cigar City BA ABW collaboration with Coppertail Brewing also out of Tampa. This brew was aged in Rum barrels.
The nose was very good as i got a nice toffee and some vanilla from the barrel. Taste was toffee dominated with some dark fruit in post sip aspirations. Barrel nuance not as prevalent as the vanilla was lightly present with the rum dominating on the back end.
Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. BA Barleywines are pretty rare so thought it was worthy of a shot for $19. Overall rated 4.04.

Hey Ho BAs! Fairly easy travel day no. 49, now at brewery #55, trying as usual a flight. From l to r a Pilsner, a pale ale, a NEDIPA, and a WCIPA:



The Hoppy Hour WCIPA was our favorite, so we’ll stay and drink a pint or two! Cheers from Saranac Brewing’s 1888 Tavern & Biergarten, Utica, NY y’all!

Good afternoon Advocates. Just got in from work and jumped into my first beer from a box sent to me by a friend at Good People Brewing in Alabama. Right off the bat, this beer surprised me. Their American IPA. This one is a little different. Leads with spicy/herbal hops and is accented with pine and citrus fruits. Has the expected big bitterness. Medium bodied and drying. Alcohol barely noticeable. Also, had a good firm malt backbone, the way AIPA should. Uses Coulmbus, Wiliamette, Simcoe, Citra, and Cascade hops. I think this is their longest running beer. Very well crafted beer. Kudos to Good People Brewing!
