What beer are you drinking now? #4668

This is okay, a touch of pistachio flavor in a decent Cream Ale.

 

Sitting out the rain storms, the relief from the heat has arrived!

 

The chicken & pork will go with some sausage into a jambalaya tomorrow.

 

Wowza is this good!

We need rain here, but its north and south of us. Maybe late tonight.

 

1) Drekker The H is Silent (6.9% no canning date): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Nelson Cryo, Nelson, Rakau and Superdelic for flavors of blueberries, melon, tropical grape and peach
versus
2) Phase Three Doggone Delish (7.8% canned 5/23/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Nelson for flavors of vinous green and white grape, green melon, berries, floral notes. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Drekker vs. Phase Three NEIPA Battle, both with some great Nelson. First is Drekker. White grape, Rakau provides a nice peach and stonefruit note, plus the Nelson gives it a tropical grape flavor. Excellent NEIPA. Next is Phase Three. All Nelson. Amazing white grape, pineapple, green melon and floral berries. A light dank notes. Incredible IPA.
Winner: Phase Three Doggone Delish

Thanks, I have a family reunion Saturday, I am hoping this adds some depth of flavor.

 

Right along here ba. First go w/ this. Cyber sue, ipa (citra, mosaic, simcoe) tg. Decent but nothing great and a far cry from king sue,

 

Brothership Warp Speed DDH DIPA (El Dorado, Citra, Peacharine, Nectaron, Superdelic). Full of diesely, fruity Southern Hemisphere hop goodness. Silky soft feel. Another outstanding offering from these guys.
