Back at it ba. Critical mass, tipa, tree house. The label reads “massive dose of citra hops” which is all I need to hear.

Crazy smooth with a creamy feel- barely notice the 9% abv. Nice notes of mango, tangerine,
melon, and pears. Impressive hop juice,

I'm ready for a brewskie. This Italian American Pilsner ((a new sub-category)) beer needs to go through INS before being quaffed. What's this? Immigration and Naturalization Services? Nope. INS = Immediate Nose Sniff. Mmmmm. Grassy & fruity hops, light fruit zest, a hint of bread, very crisp and clean. Enjoy your stay in the USA Stay as long as you wish.

Fogged and Confused 8%. Not loving, I believe terpes are involved.

 

Canned July 18 ... yummy. Impressive hop action with fresh hay, grass and delicately placed fruits. They've painted a very nice Pils.

 

Especially nice is this beer. A second round is much anticipated.

I had to make a trip to Wisconsin to get some Spotted Cow for my big road trip to Montana next week. I am in Balsom Lake at Balsom Lake Brewing and having this:

This beer is mostly clear looking in the glass with a slight haze to it. Light stream of carbonation bubbles rise in the glass. There's a sticky looking white head with sticky looking lacing on the glass.
The nose is just just full of cereal grains. There is a slight floral element to the aroma.
The flavor is totally full of malts. Very strong cereal grain flavor. There's a floral element in the middle. The beer finishes off with a sharp bitterness on the back that lingers.
Decent body. The feeling of the bitterness lingers on my palate.
Not bad at all on this summer day.
