Another, and it is hitting me hard in the mountains.

 

Warsteiner Oktoberfest. Some biscuit, breadiness, honey, some caramel, herbal hop. Advertised as a Marzen, but I think this one lies somewhere between a Marzen and Festbier, as it's not nearly as malty or sweet as some Marzens can be. Nicely done.

 

There is some hope of rain and a bit less heat in the near future.

Identity Crisis DIPA from Double Tap Brewing Co., on a steamy early evening. I've been crushing this beer all summer but it was canned on 6/27 and alas it's starting to fade. I only have 1 can left. Cheers!

Got a drop of Civil Society brews last week . Bought 1 can of each . This is a a 2NEIPA at 8.6 % called Alligator Rodeo. CO 0702 hopped with citra and a variety of NZ hops . Nice notes of wine in finish.
