Back from the AQS show in Grand Rapids, MI, over the end of last week - was able to meet up with @Whyteboar at Founders for a couple of beers, had some decent Italian (and Red's Rye) and Korean BBQ (and beer), etc. Drank a couple of cans of this in the Hotel room and saved the rest for review under better controlled conditions:



Detroit Dwarf from Old Nation Brewing. Picked up a refrigerated four-pack at Riverside Liquors in Grand Rapids, MI, 23/08/25. Priceless because they don’t mark their items and don’t generate an itemized receipt. Reviewed 25/08/25 (Review 3567).
Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated can.) Uncredited label artist. Nice altbier, reminds me of a Nürnberger Rotbier – wish I’d picked up more!

Light morning snack to tide me over to a Greek dinner later today paired with this cellar pull on a beautiful crisp morning. Great having the windows open after a few months of mostly Vegas (90-100s) and Chicago (Humid 85-95s) necessitated AC.

Watching Court TV, the trial of Donna Adelson, who is accused of hiring hitmen to kill her ex son-in-law. The two hitmen and her son have been convicted. So far it looks like Donna will also be found guilty, but there is still a lot of testimony upcoming.
