    My last reply seems to have gotten lost in the mess that is TimeWarner internet. Neither Sucks nor Tired Hands make it into "The Wilds" of western PA so I can't comment on them. In the past I've enjoyed Hopslam, despite the fact it contains honey. I began home brewing making mead and now don't care for it - changing palate. Don't worry, you might enjoy Hopslam again - palates, formulae, and honey all change. No flame- no pain!

    That beer blew me away. I think it was my best beer of last year. Block 15 make some of the best beer on planet. Cheers!

    Good point about honey change! I didn't think about that, although I'm almost certain that it's my palate and the amazing quality of IIPA I had over the months since I last had Hopslam (ALL for the first time): Heady, Pliny, Double Sunshine, Abner, Kern Citra, Abrasive, Double Galaxy, Permanent Funeral, Enjoy By, Dreadnaught, Bad Boy, Bodhi, Pure Hoppiness ... many more, but those are from the top 100 of the Top 250 beer list. With the exception of Dreadnaught, which I think it was a little too old, I'd take any of the above before Hopslam. I know, I know, such a tough life! Hahaha :grinning:

    And moving on to trois pistoles. I tell you, I've had westy 12, rochefort 10 and st. Bernardus 12, as well as many other quads and in my opinion it doesn't get much better than this.[​IMG]
