1) Phase Three Rule Of Thirds (7.7% canned 7/18/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic & Nelson for flavors of white grape, snappy passionfruit, zesty citrus and tropical berries.
versus
2) WeldWerks Extra Extra Broccoli (8.3% canned 9/5/2025): A NEIPA from Colorado in collab with Other Half for flavors of bright orange, pineapple, tropical grapes, and sweet mango. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Phase Three vs WeldWerks IPA Battle. First is Phase Three. One of the best I've had, I've talked about this one enough.
Next is WeldWerks in collab with Other Half. A hybrid between Extra Juicy Bits and Broccoli. If so it should have Citra, Mosaic and Hallertau. Sweet grape and mango notes from Broccoli among the Bright orange Citrus and pineapple in Juicy bits. A bit hot and sweet, but could settle down within a couple of weeks. Excellent collab.

First half of family got in today, waiting for them to meet up for dinner. Here early, so grabbing a local lager from Wheatland Spring called Mode while I wait:


Looks nice, but is near ice cold. Gonna half to give it a little time to warm, but it does seem to have some potential. Full slate of MLB games and the Caps season opener tonight. I’ll try to be a good host, but it may be a bit difficult
