More Raul complaints about his local corner store - which has ‘Craft Beer’ in big letters in their sign - but is actually a place where craft beer goes to die. I’m pretty sure that I drank an entire row of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale’s - all in which were canned in April. But now that restocked row has cans from August. Place literally has stuff canned in 2024. But I digress…

Hey @GreenBayBA , you still high off of yesterdays victory?

My high school years happened during the end of the Emo scene. Yes it is dead. That other shit that claims to be emo is pop punk or Hot Topic Mall Rock. Anyway, I saw electronic masters Autechre last night. But if they didn’t play, I would have found a way to Las Vegas to see emo masters Mineral reunited ten years ago at their final show.

I typically get removed from Club Raul by @RaulMondesi after I completely deserve it. Tonight, I was way out of line. I promise to pay the entire bill, @RaulMondesi. But @ChicagoJ, only you know this beer reference. Also @Danmullens1.

On the Eurostar heading to London to drown in cask ale before heading back to the greatest country on the planet : The Fucking USA!
Got this at the little touristy train kiosk for 7 euros.
Gonna head into the train bar to drink with a loud pack of drunk ManchesterUnited footy club folks. There's about 20 of them so you KNOW I'm gonna let those fuckers know who the fuck i am

We shut the fucking bar down!
Though it was Manchester fans but it was a wild bunch of 10 Belgian Football fans.
Goes without saying , but i fucking held it down for us boys.
This, photo in frame, but it was all that was left cuz they drank all the Leffe, isnt beer to the Belgians , they said it's SHIT .
Cantillon is considered wine, ( no surprise, that 'beer ' is fucking overpriced fruited wine ), ipas are all shit and not beer, Orval, Westmalle, Leffe , La Chouffe and Rochefort are the kings of the working class. They don't give two shits about Westvleteten cuz they charge too much for it here.

Needless to say this was one of the best experiences i have had on this trip.
A wild pack of drunken Belgian football fans interrogating me about what it's like to be American and schooling me on true Belgian culture.

TL;DR Cantillon isn't considered beer( its wine), they hate Trump cuz of tarrifs, they like Ivanka cuz shes hot, they think american soccer is shit and they loved me as much as they love Orval and Westmalle

Were you the one that said stop drinking chocolate Porter and Black IPA and get Timmy Ts Landlord on cask? I want my 4 euros back dammit!

It was honestly just OK. Nothing special and if you find yoursel out in England you will be better off with the house Cask pours unless you REALLLY want that tick from some suggestions from a dinosaur author of beer literature from before the millenium .

This Michelada has DFH Grateful Dead Pale Ale that's too old for my liking. Going to the hot tub whilst these coals/wood chunks get there

Time to shake off that horrible loss yesterday & attack the rest of the long weekend.

It was a great ale 20 years ago. I am amazed at the small brewers that have surfaced over the last 10 years or so. No, my advice would to be to drink them all. Although the Green King IPA is only so-so in books.

    It was @LAFreeway
    Sorry @russpowell

    So here it is brother
Timmy Ts Landlord was nothing to write home about!
So many other outstanding ales on cask here
Good thing i didn't go to the touristy shit area around Covent Garden to drink it.

All beer is good, some better than others.

Timothy Taylor Landlord is way at the bottom of my cask ale drinks
I would NOT suggest it to anyone unless they really want that tick.
House Cask Ales are just as good.
I hit about 5 or 6 different pubs so far, with another 4 on my list today . I'll write about it later.
