What beer are you drinking now? #4745

Elysian Full Contact 8.8% IPA - Cheers!!

 

I'm drinking 16oz can of Polish Eagle Brau. A recreation of a 1907 beer from the Polish Brewing Company in Steven Point WI. The brewery operated from 1907 to 1917.
It is brewed by District 1 in Point.
It's a good beer. I get grain, bread and a little corn. smooth, slightly sweet It has a very nice soft mouth feel.
It's better than the average macro of today.

I'm drinking a 16oz can of Imperial Buck in Rut. Brewed by O'so in Plover (Steven's Point) WI.
A 9% ABV strong lager.
How does it taste? Like I thought it would and maybe the way it should taste. Grain, bread with a hint of corn and maybe rice. Low hop levels but there is a noble hop hint with a touch of floral. Sweet, smooth and malty. The abv is well hidden but it's there. A little heat in the mouth and you can taste it in the background. This is a cheap craft macro that is truly doubled. It's better than most high abv malt liquors The negative is the can is showing hints of age as it warms. I'm sure it was better fresher.

In Wisconsin it maybe pre rut time, the bucks are fighting for dominance. Soon they will be a chasing the does. Watch out driving on the highways 24 hours a day

Loved Prague, highly recommend to my fellow beer lovers! Now in Austria at Schonbrunn Palace. Good lager with wonderful views. Prost!

Two Coast - Kölsch.
One of the best i have had out here . There are a lot of breweries that say they make a Kölsch but it's just a fucking overhopped pilsner/lager . These guys are the real deal .
