BLVCK Celebration (blackstrap, black salt, maple destruction) from Adroit Theory. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans purchased from Adroit Theory on-line, Purcellville, VA, ordered 04/08/25 received 16/10/25 - $34.66 (Including shipping!)/$ 0.542/fl oz. Reviewed 19/10/25, review 3614.
Final impression and summation: 3.25 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated container) Uncredited art work. Bitter coffee porter – what is the significance of the (blackstrap, black salt, maple destruction) BS? Nothing to do with the flavor. Fruit Fly ignored.
Rating 3.43, rDev -7.8%
Possibly the worst beer on the porter -stout spectrum I've ever had from Adroit Theory.

Well, we got very little snow yesterday. Most of it ended up on vehicles.

I'm sipping on this collaboration Festbier from Wayfinder and Grand Fir and imho, they hit a home run with Spider Dance.

Very good dank IPA but I'm not a big fan of such beers. I AM a big fan of where the canned on date is.

Beer story. I really enjoy a good dark lager, and the Czech style seems to dominate my favorites in the style.
I almost bought a new one I had never seen before until I realized that for the price of those 4 pints I could buy a 6 pack of Expedition stout *and* a couple more singles.
Maybe I’m just cheap.
I’m going to go back and try to get a single of it, just to see if it’s worth the extra money. Time will tell.

Well, it wasn’t pretty, but UVa found a way to get “bowl eligible” - well, at all, but specifically- before November. We’ll likely stumble our way to a potential bowl, but I’ll take the good feeling on this wonderfully mild, slightly breezy fall weekend morning, dodging falling acorns on the deck with a Rêve.

 

I drink to forget.

At this rate we will be relegated before you can say Gipuzkoa or Txuri-Urdin.
