Well, the end of the week is here, so let the weekend begin, as we are once again, On the Wings of Armageddon...


Haven't had this one in a short while, but I found a beer this week that I haven't seen nor had in a really long time, and I will likely post it at some point this weekend. It is a bit darker than this one.

I found that recently, too, and it fits the bill in many ways, but it is not the one I speak of above

 

I had one of these last night with some delish hot Latuff's pizza from across the road. This Lager is really good and is jacketed with a firm and directive lemon taste. Kinda sorta West Coast with the lemon and a relatively dry finish. I like it more overall than most of the IPAs these folks release but their beers are generally all very good. They made a beer called Spaghetti Western that was dynamite and I've seen it only once. The brew Lager Royale from Castle Danger is sort of in the same zone here.

Happy Friday BAs! It's a Halloween tradition and usually my first batch of chili for the fall & winter. My modified Texas style chili using Creature Comforts Koko Buni Milk Porter - 2 cans. The coffee, cocoa nibs, and coconut flavors blend nicely with carmelizes unions & spices. Mrs. ATL6245 loves it and looks forward to it every year. Also, making some corn bread to go with a little later. Cheers!
