    First time making a homemade pizza since...well Reagan may have been president at the time. An Ursa Minor Snacktime beer accompanies it well - the yeasty, biscuit flavor is wonderful.

    1) New Glarus Bubbler (4.0%): A Hefeweizen from Wisconsin with flavors of orange, fruity yeast and juicyfruit with bubblegum, banana, and spices. Clean.
    versus
    2) Hofbrau Hefeweizen (5.4%): A German Hefeweizen with flavors of pale Munich malt, yeast, hints of German spices. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Hefeweizen Battle. First is New Glarus, one of the best in my opinion. Flavorful, full, yet only 4%.
    Next is Hofbrau. My first impression on this. Pours beautifully, milder aromas and flavors than I expected. Sort of underwhelming here.
    Winner: New Glarus Bubbler
