    Did a little side by side tasting. 2012 Founders RIS on the left, 2013 on the right. I preferred the 2012, not as much noticeable alcohol and more complex. It had a strong black olive character I didn't really get out of the fresh one. Will have to grab another 4-pack for aging.

    FINALLY getting around to finishing season three of GoT. Just experienced the 'red wedding.'

    Unfortunately, the American does not live quite up to the standard set by its Tasmanian counterpart, though not much does when it comes to the shelf, and it is still an immensely enjoyable beverage in its own right.

    Good pale ale, very pleasant. All around balanced flavors of orange/lemon zest with juniper berries and honey/biscuit/cracker malts. Quite enjoyable and very smooth.

    Delicious Scottish ale. Caramel/toast/biscuit/plum/brown sugar/nuttiness/light chocolate and some light herbal/floral hop presence. Spot on.

    A bit of a ginger bomb for sure, but this was really damn good. Really well balance flavors of big caramel/molasses/toffee/toast/brown bread with raisin/plum/ginger and nice moderate rum/vanilla/oak barrel flavors. Very smooth sipper for 9%. This was delicious.
