1) Drekker Metaphase (8.2% no canning date): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Citra & Nelson Sauvin for flavors of lemon and orange citrus, green citrus, grape, guava, and juicy pine.
versus
2) Phase Three All Pixel Everything (8.0% canned 8/18/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin for flavors of orange, green melon, berries, tropical grape. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Drekker vs Phase Three IPA Battle. First is Drekker Metaphase. Citra and Nelson. The best Drekker IPA and I keep going on these.
Next is Phase Three and Other Half All Pixel Everything. I've already said enough on this. Best IPA I can remember. Still great post-3 months.
Winner: Phase Three All Pixel Everything

I don't think you're biased, but I've noticed you almost always choose Phase Three in a lineup with another brewery. I can't get thier beer here, but I visited them 2-years ago and was really impressed. So again, you are probably not biased.

Viet 50 from CLAG. Non-BA stout with coconut, banana, toasted sesame seeds, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla, and pandan leaf.

 

Ended up back at Tap 22 today, after a 3 mile mall walk because of high winds and cold temps. Since I didn't have a Pseudo Sue yesterday, I stuck with those today. $3 instead of $2 yesterday, but still a great deal. Cheers!

 

@woodchipper I might be a bit because I think Phase Three makes some of the best IPAs according to my preference for hop flavor, a clean, body and not overly sweet. And I'm probably biased toward this beer because this collab with Other Half was the best IPA I bought in 2025. But I do think they make some of the best IPAs. Admittedly, I am not a fan of all of them though (but I usually don't buy as many of those) and I try to accurately call them how I see them.

 

Alcohol abuse! But I get impatient with Celebration too. Cheers!

 

Saving some Celebration for the next of the 4-day weekend. Switching to a very orange Treehouse beer.
