Have a good Thursday BA. I slept in today again, but got to 2/3 through Operation Paperclip by Annie Jacobsen. 4/5 History book about Third Reich scientists. Julia is making a Mega Meat thin crust pizza from aldi, with added pepperonis to cover the pie. We went shopping yesterday and got plenty of stuff to eat for a while.


10/16/2018 Bell's Bourbon Barrel Aged Expedition stout. Super rich malt complexity and perfect barrel balance. A little boozy in the nose but will masked 13.4% in the taste.

Had to turn off hockey because it was so bad. Switched to the Celtics game. Having a Cape May Merry & Bright. Quite enjoyable!

A good IPA but I liked my first two better. I know. I am a Veil brewery snob.

I have yet to try this year’s, but it is slightly more economical, 40 ounces for what used to get you 34 ish ounces.

New to me yellow beer from @EXACTLY , one that doesn’t involve Citra and looks more like a lager or red ale. It’s slightly dank, piney, and almost a faint smoke vibe in back.

 

Might be a few tonight. Work was annoying, tons of work to do, but management is fixated on silly priorities

The Bruery's Melange A Quad......Big strong strong ale, lots of oak, bourbon flavors, and dry dark pit fruit notes to make it quite sweet.

 

For good reason sir!

 

Hmmm, going to have to look that one up!!
