Still at it ba. Lambo door, dipa (citra,simcoe, el dorado), Grimm. Decent hop juice. Pretty much the only release I still buy from these guys on the reg.

 

These aren't the hops you're looking for.

 

I was impressed with Red Sweater IPA. I'm not saying it is as good as Celebration but the two IPAs are similar in many respects and the gap between them is less than I though it would be. Cheers!

They have a new Winter IPA on, and it is excellent. Review coming up over at the NBW thread.



Then their Drip Coffee Stout. I have had it before. Its not bad at all, though coffee flavor as always been really overly roasted for me, which makes it unbalanced. Probably why I don't get it a lot, its perfectly fine, but there you go

And just finished up this amazing novel on Rudolph Nureyev's life. The Russian ballet dancer, its amazing.

 

Having one of these delicious Pils while waiting for dinner to finish.

 

Pretty solid! Bigfoot is one of the few beers that I prefer aged. The hops have faded about 80%, mostly malty caramel and barrel now.

 

Then on over to Les Baget, one of my favorite Vietnamese spots..but that can also be like over a dozen other places ha.

Anyway...their smoked brisket Bahn Mi, that is one of the best in town. And in the background, the Royal eggrolls...with crab and shrimp. These are addictive ha.

What a crappy, cold snowy blustery day here in NE Ohio land....what to do, but put on some Christmas music and wrap some gifts and drink some Ohio made holiday beers!

Whole bunch of chores around the house on a day that can only be described as purely arctic. Once the Mrs finishes her last chore or two, we should be putting on a Christmas movie.
