Only 8 degrees here - 6 below with windchill - brrr, fuck, it's been cold already and winter does not even arrive until this Sunday with the solstice!

Anyway, a planned morning hike got postponed until this afternoon, so I have been wrapping gifts and other holiday prep stuff!

Today, it's quite cold and windy, with snow squalls, out here in McGregor--and both Gracie and Sundae were curious and happy to help me check out today's new beers (it should be noted, that, yesterday, I added a fourth beer to my usual regimen--my twelfth beer from Cambridge, Ontario's Farm League Brewing...their 5% Black Currant Fruited Sour)...

First for today, a collaboration between two of my favourite Torontonian breweries: Blood Brothers Brewing and Bellwoods Brewery--their 8% Devil's Sauce Double IPA. It's with Sundae...

--Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery (Barrie, Ontario; my twenty-second); and

Brasserie Corsendonk (Belgium) Christmas Ale.,. Cheers!

 

Good morning everyone. I’m drinking my first Shock Top Belgian White on this beautiful Monday morning. I was expecting this to be a cheap, flavorful wheat beer. Like Sam Adam’s Cold Snap or even Blue Moon. Instead I got some really thin, watery dish soap

Oh well, maybe the five remaining bottles will change my opinion
