Hello BAs. Sleepus Interruptus so I'll have a beer. Time for Boulevard Nut Cracker Winter Warmer 7.8% Not too shabby and if you enjoy Belgian beers or monastery beers, this might be one you'd dig. Effervescent and has some nice pine resin happnin'. Serving temp means more with this offering. @Shanex might even think this beer is cute Cheers!! Great to be here!

I was glad that I scheduled an outing for The Responsible Beer Drinking Club for nearby Erie St. Gastropub when I did--I had no idea that after this upcoming Saturday, they'd be closed for a month for winter vacation! I discovered that as kegs were being emptied, in their 24-tap selection, they weren't being restocked, as a result, but I could still find three beers I hadn't previously tried...

First, my fifteenth selection from Windsor's own Rose City Beer Works--their 5.7% IPA #15 - Krush...



Next, my sixteenth from the company--their 5.6% Porter #03 - Skor...

Finally from the flight, it's my sixth beer from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario's The Exchange Brewery--their 7% Flanders Red Sour Ale. This was truly remarkable...



When I return home, I'm going to have my sixteenth beer from Toronto, Ontario's Halo Brewery--their 8% Milky Way Imperial Cookie Stout...

All three beers are also shown bookending an article on the must-see film Psycho (Alfred Hitchcock, 1960), a masterpiece of the horror genre, to be sure...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers to contemplate, from the following breweries:
--Henderson Brewing Co. (Toronto, Ontario; my ninth of their handiworks);
--Lake of Bays Brewing Company (Baysville, Ontario; my ninth); and

Happy Wednesday ba. No call in, this morning, so my normal day off here. Had to run some crap errands but now it’s beer time.

The Alchemist keeps dropping cases here, on the island, so I was able to grab another mixed 4-pack this morning. I’ll do it in reverse order to shake shit up,

 

Shooting practice complete and grocery store run done. Lunch is a WW Pernicious IPA with a rotisserie chicken salad on the 72 degree pool deck.
