Vann nice! The Mrs got the air fryer going. Chicken always comes out tender. Publix tenders may take a hit?

Today’s Northwest Tour brew is a tasty IPA, Wanderlust IPA from Breakside Brewing, Portland, Oregon. This is a much tamer can than the last beer I drank from Breakside! This is a delicious and predictable IPA. Yes, it’s a Westie, despite the slight cloudiness – no NEIPA here!

With its Wolf graphics, you’d think this one would tear your head off, but no, it is a conservative and restrained 6.5% ABV and 64 IBU. I’m especially fond of this can for other non-disclosed reasons!

Wanderlust features Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic, Summit and Simcoe hops – my favorite is the Simcoe, responsible for a lot of that pine forest I’m picking up on the back end.

You have to strap one on the next time in the Portland area… ! I’ll see you there!

The entrenchment target you refer to is only rebuffed by the masses and time, sadly not without pain, or effort.
Wishing the best to you and yours

I will be 74 in a few weeks. I have seen a lot. Bunch of political assignations. Vietnam. Gas shortages. Fucking 18% interest on mortgages. Aids. 911 (I was just blocks from it). Fucking Afghanistan and Iraq wars. 1/6. It is exhausting.

At this point in my life I choose to read, watch and listen but not get too emotional. I am not happy but beer helps.

Indeed Sir Mayflower 1620. Declaration of Indepenence 1776. North America is a baby compared to countries with thousands of years of heritage...with their own history of strife and conflict. There is really nothing new to see. It is cyclical. Because human beings cannot inherently just love each other. We are looked at as the land of opportunity... or at least we used to be..
America is just a baby compared to many other countries... and look what a short time it has taken to fuck it all up.

I watched "A House of Dynamite" last night. Not far-fetched (see: invasion of Veneuzala). Scary as a ************. And think of the incompetents running things now.
Oh well, I guess it's all worth it to not have non-born females playing in women's sports.
Like Harry Dean Stanton said in "Repo Man" (?): "What do you believe?" "I believe I'll have another drink".

Mods: do what this what you will. I think you know where I stand.
