    Sawasdee Khrabh from Phuket!

Apologies to any Thai speakers whose language I just mangled, but I've been practising all day, so I'm better than I was about eight hours ago...

Pool beers and temples have highlighted this second full day of our holiday, with the pool beers headlined by Singha, followed by a craftier option on the hotel balcony by Fullmoon Brewworks, the first craft beer brewery that opened on the island.

Hopefully your day is as good as mine has been! What beer are you drinking?

    Cheers!

Full review linked above, full New Beer Weekend take linked here. Bottom line, too sweet with possible honey addition, but still enjoying as a one off.

I remember having a few of those Full Moon beers. Not sure if I'll ever get back there, but plenty fun

    G'day all!

Although I am not a fan of Tequila/Agave, I had to give this a try and I added it to the database.

Caramel malt, toffee, vanilla, some woody notes, and what has to be the Agave that came across to me as an odd fruitiness. Alcohol is not that well hidden either. Oh well.

    Prost!

Good day BAs! Thanks @AzfromOz for opening the bar - good to see you're still with us! Thailand is my bucket list country to visit - in my freshman college days we had a returning vet who was stationed there - he always pronounced it "Thighland" to every prof's hilarity - and at my favorite Chinese restaurant we had a Thai waitress/co-owner who used to make me special off-menu dishes. Sigh!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Alpha Klaus (2025) from Three Floyds. Six pack of 12 fl oz bottles from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Picked up 10/01/25, on room temperature shelf. $ 12/six pack (including tax) ($ 0.167/fl oz). Reviewed 10/01/26, review 3667.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Uncredited label art. Quite good for a porter, well-balanced but still surprising hop presence – both very drinkable and desirable – think I’ll have another!
