Jester King Fantome Del Ray brewed in collaboration with Dany Prignon. Can't believe I bumped in to this one out in the sticks, but here she is. Smells savory and complex. Dry, crisp, tart, and spicy...but also finishes plush with a soft sweetness. Delicious. I was on the hunt for this one around 10 years ago, but never ran into it. Wanted to buy all of the bottles on the shelf, but left them for others to try.

 

I have known @jzeilinger for quite awhile, but have not even asked what team he goes for when it comes to America's pastime. Surprise! I am a Philles and Eagles fan!

We’re having people over for our annual end of the holiday season dinner. A priest, a deacon, and a seminarian are among the guests. The priest liked when I gave him one of these, as he said he’s had Surly beers, but he’s never had this.
