Celebration (2025) from Sierra Nevada. Six-pack of 12 fl oz cans from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. On room temperature shelf at distributor. Lost receipt so no info on price or date of purchase, but it was earlier this month. Reviewed 23/01/26, review 3680.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Uncredited label art – the cabin in the woods? Apropos for such a monstrous terpene presence. Hard to believe this is the first time since 2008 I’ve seen this.

Good morning, my fellow BAs, or should I say chilly morning.

I know a lot of my fellow Tri State area folks are planning for the worst, but as a former upstate New York resident (between Tug Hill Plateau and Adirondack Park), I know I am just going to sit back and observe.

Naturally, it sounds like the Midwest is laughing in the below zero temperatures, which I do not miss either, so I know they have to hunker down as well.

So whatever beer you are having this morning, please stay warm, stay hydrated, raise those glasses, and hunker down.

I woke up this morning to a fine dusting of snow and 7°F temp.

I'm sipping on this double dry hopped Pilsner from Moonlight out of Santa Rosa California. Why do that to a Pilsner? You got me.

A couple to warm us up at work

 

1 of 2 for today, got one more special beer left and then I’ll probably be out for the next week. Got to make €95 last for groceries until the 1st of Feb unless I want to dip into savings. At least the wine here in Spain is cheap and delicious so I’ll still have something to sip on.

In the meantime this is a delicious 8% Belgian affair, Coriander, Clove, Banana, a bit of black pepper as well. Very warm and festive despite being very drinkable. Well worth the €1 I spent on it (might have to go back to see if they’re still on sale to pick up a handful more).

The first can that I opened had almost no carbonation, and not much Citra. I tried another can which had a good two finger head and better hop flavor. I like the bitterness.
