Happy Wednesday ba. Nothing but frozen tundra, here on the island, and it ain’t going away anytime soon. Glad for the day of rest.

Gots a full lineup of trillium ipas on hand- see how many I get to. May do a quick beer run as well for some variation.

Into it w/ The Riverway, ipa (mosaic/citra), trillium. Straight forward solid hop juice w/ minimal fruit notes. Probably my favorite hop combo as well,

It was below zero this morning when I started the grill to smoke a pork butt. I also smoked some sausage and burger to make chili. A beer for the chili and a beer for my belly.

Crisp Amber Lager for now.

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, 5% - top 5% beer in my rankings!


-Look: Dark chocolate brown with a thick tan head that lasts.
-Aroma: Dark ripe fruits, fig, plum, apricot, chocolate, and coffee.
-Taste: Roasted coffee and dark chocolate, mild bitterness, dark fruit.
-Feel: Soft and smooth, full and creamy, velvety delight!
-Overall: Complex flavors and feel create a taste experience - outstanding!

 

Happy Hump Day BAs, and another cold af one it is - had to go get a new battery for my 2018 car this am - $250 smakers! Jeez! I am hating this winter!

 

Right along here ba. Congress street, ipa (galaxy/columbus), trillium. A much softer/plush feel, crazy smooth, and subtle notes of peach & tangerine. Nice stuff,

Yazoo Brewing Hefeweizen

Light hazy yellow color with small lasting white cap.

An aroma of weet malt wrapped in spiced yellow fruit.

Taste like the way it sniffs with the fruit and spice more prominent than in the aroma. Hops barely perceptible but a tartness emerges mid palate right through to the finish which is clean with a slightly sweet aftertaste.

 

The ugliest and most tasteless IPA I've ever had.. drain pourrr - Cheers!!

 

Good morning BAdvocates. I'm drinking a Lake Tahoe Aleworx (Alibi) Tahoe Cold IPA. I out-smarted this one, opened it over the sink to minimize the explosion damage!
