Had a Beer/cheese pairing at homebrew club tonight.

    Onto reviews:

Nice Pale lager. Pristine appearance with crystal clear pale amber and great head retention. Pleasant flavors and aromas that are extremely well balanced with very clean lagering and no off flavors. Lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very crisp and smooth.

Very good DIPA. Bright lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, orange zest hoppiness with light caramel/light honey/bread malts and floral/grass/light pine and floral/grassy earthiness from the hops. Hop/malt flavors were almost balanced in the taste but still quite crisp. Not as impressive as I hoped for, but a very tasty offering. Glad I bought a 4 pack.

Very nice Dubbel style. Lightly tart plums with raisin/blackberry/pear/apple and dark bread/molasses/candi sugar/toast malts with moderate clove/pepper esters. A very smooth sipper as well.

My first Palate Wrecker, and I must say, I've had my palate wrecked by other beers worse than this. Green Bullet was the real Palate Wrecker IMO. Besides the slight misnomer, this beer is tasty! Glad to see it finally hit the shelves here down south. Its the perfect cap to a looooooooong day.

Took the dog for a walk 40 minutes ago, smelled like a skunk convention near my porch:grimacing: Hopefully my deep-fryer there wasn't drawing him/them in... ( Cat-fish,delish, my Father in-law's Birthday dinner request ). Escaped unscathed:grinning: Roughtail 12thRound American Strong Ale, not sure what if anything is on deck...

Listening to some B.B. King & Bonnie Raitt on the Satellite radio...

    Finisher brews:

Outstanding. Super balanced blueberry and deep stout flavors. The Dark Horse stout series is the shit. Every single one of them.

Insane offering, always available fresh. Once that Chicago location shows up, I need to go there asap.
