Today, it's very mild and beautiful, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae were more than happy to help me investigate today's new brews: First, with Sundae, it's my fourteenth beer from Baysville, Ontario's Lake of Bays Brewing Company--their 2.5% Low Tide IPA...

Finally, with Gracie, my fifteenth brew from Toronto's Left Field Brewery--the 4.5% Home & Away Hazy APA...

Tomorrow: Three more new beer experiences, from the following breweries:
--Grain & Grit Beer Co. (Hamilton, Ontario; my fourteenth of their wares);
--Henderson Brewing Co. (Toronto, Ontario; my tenth); and
--Orleans Brewing Co. (Orleans, Ontario; my ninth)...

That is far too young. I’m truly sorry you lost your dad at 57.

I lost mine in November 2023. He battled cancer for five years. Watching someone you love fight that long leaves a mark, but it also shows you what strength looks like.

So today, let’s raise a glass to our dads. To their fight, their memory, and everything they gave us that still lives on.

 

Good morning BAdvocates. Went on a very short wheeler ride earlier before I had to get started on my computer work. Had some rain last night that coupled with some fireplace smoke and made for an excellent outdoor smell.

Now back at home drinking a pFriem IPA.
