Oh yeah, there use to be nothing from ECM albums on YouTube at all, let alone Keith Jarrett, or Jimi Hendrix, or King Crimson...all the artists or representatives for the artist saying the same thing...now they are all there ha. The only reason I use YouTube for music is with this thread though, just to share and see what others are sharing here.

I apologize for my absence from these lovely daily bar posts; I was accepted into the accelerated Computer Science Master's program at WGU on December 1st. I've managed to complete 7 credit hours already, and I plan to take my Network and Security - Foundations final assessment today, putting me at 10 CUs in less than 2 1/2 months.
I am ever so grateful I am single this hallmark holiday so every red cent I acculate goes towards my recently acquired hobby of drinking burbon barrel aged dark that is more costly than my cost of attendance a semester. Gotta knock this bachelor's out QUICK if my student loan debt to artisnal craft beer intake ratio makes me result to white collar crimes or worse yet... DELIQUENCY BY DEFAULT.
At any rate, I am enjoying a smooth 14.5% ABV Wolverine State Brewing Co. Massacre from 2023 in solidarity.

1) Grimm Artisanal Ales Oracle Deck (8.0% canned 11/19/25): A NEIPA from New York with Citra and Nelson with flavors of orange citrus zest, white grapefruit, white grape, and pineapple.
versus
2) Toppling Goliath Fire, Skulls, & Money (7.8% canned 1/20/26): A NEIPA from Iowa with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nelson for flavors of grapefruit and orange citrus flower, vinous white grape, gooseberry with some pine and berry to balance. Juicy, complex, and clean. (Mismatched the two blind)

Citra and Nelson IPA Battle. First is Grimm Artisanal Ales Oracle Deck. Nice balance of Citra and Nelson with some zesty citrus and pineapple notes. Excellent representation of the two hops.
Next is The Almighty. I was minding my own business stocking up on some epic IPAs then Toppling Goliath brewed this masterpiece. Last canned one year ago, I didn't think I'd see this again this soon. Now I have way too many and top-shelf IPAs. This is The GOAT, but I know it's fresh and may need some more nice to settle a bit at less than three weeks.
Bright orange, smooth pineapple, and white grape mixed with some berries. The flavors come together perfectly and this is only going to get better over the next month. Hope you all don't get tired of seeing this one. All hail Fire, Skulls, & Money.

Done with one course, and get a bit of a break for the next few weeks other than a conference, senior theses, and some administrivia. 10 miles on a mildly sore PF this morning (sigh).

Got a new sectional sofa today that created all kinds of havoc (rearranging chairs on the Titanic kind of situation).

Now? Time for a HA SPACE.
