    Totally agree with your philosophy Larry of waiting until the snow action is done as i am anal too when shoveling my <10 inches of annual snowfall and having a clean driveway too :wink:

    [​IMG] Good afternoon all. I’m drinking yet another Great Basin FIRELIT Haze on this blustery Tuesday. A warm, wet storm is blowing through and I’ve watched a solid foot of snow disappear since yesterday. Rain is fine by me, but the wind is strong enough that it caused the Highway Patrol to close down the north/south freeway.

    Mainly clear body, light gold, dense and lively small-bubble carbonation streams; thin yet lasting white head. Pretty good nose; pine resin and a sense of dankness. Wonderful taste; light, biscuit-like malt base with a well-rounded hop bitterness; delicately sweet; peppery hop flavor. Medium body; crisp; part juicy, part dry mouthfeel.

    This is a very fine west coast India pale ale offering, well-balanced, nicely complex flavors, with a mellow, easy-drinking feel to it.

    ...after a few hours ensconced within the 'Fortress of Solitude' assembly area, playing with gunpowder and explosives and doing some very minor metal working, it is now time to cut loose a bit and indulge in a fine, more or less local west coast IPA...this is quite refreshing...
