NBW and ISIL cross-post. Lion's Tail Brewing Bourbon Trail Rocky Road. 2025. An imperial stout aged one year in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels, then conditioned on cacao beans, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and toasted almonds and peanuts. A beer I am breaking a 48-hour water fast with. It is as good as a pastry stout can be. It is rocky road ice cream in a glass. This may be my favorite selection in this series. I am going to look for food and trouble.

Tried the Centurion lounge which wasn’t worth it so after 2 weeks in Chile, back I’m back in the Delta 1 lounge
Stella, Modela Brooklyn Lager, Coney Island IPA on tap, Brooklyn Pulp Art IPA in a can -
But I ask if they still have that Goose Island stout in bottles, he searches the back of the cooler…
He didn’t pour it well, but it’s free, and a great prep for my next flight

Easy day here. A few doo dads in the remodel room. Gotta shake off this cold I got but I can have a brew fo sho!
Super fine & so divine. As high quality as say Guinness Foreign Extra IMO but with less chocolate and the incredible add'n of bourbon barrel. Central Waters BB Stout Brewer's Reserve.


New oak wood, which not surprisingly has a very "beery" hue now thanks to amber shellac, against un-prepped, unsealed OG mahogany. It's turning out well. Got lucky ystrdy with upper 40s temps and a breeze b4 another freeze and slammed 2 coats on base & casing trim.
