Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Dark Chocolate Cherry Stout (2025) from Victory. 16 fl oz can, purchased 26/02/26 from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. $3.00 (Including tax)/$ 0.187/fl oz. In reefer at store, stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 04/03/26, review 3697.
Final impression and summation: 3.25 Uncredited label art. Basically, worth the low price point but certainly not one cent higher.

Totally missing my second-favorite non-citrus fruit - for me that's a BIG issue.

 

G'day all!

I'm sipping on this Light Lager that was produced out of Irwindale California. Must be a City Brewing beer, eh? No mention of Ohio on my 6pack. BTW, nice light Lager.

The store I went to this morning, I picked up 6 or 7 packages but put them back. Canned dates were February, May, and July 2025. They were beers that I have enjoyed in the past. Sad situation that's not unique to this store..

Happy hump day ba. Nice to see temps on the rise here. That and all the rain we’re gonna get should get rid of the snow for good.

Into it w/ a proper morning beer. Breakfast stout, founders. I don’t drink nearly as much of this, as I once did, and I’m not really sure why that is.

 

Today, it's very foggy but mild and beautiful, out here in McGregor--and both of my lady Pamela's cats Gracie and Sundae were pleased to explore the day's new brews...including from two new breweries, discovered just yesterday! First, with Sundae, it's my first beer from Brzesko, Poland's Browar Okocim--their 6.5% Okocim Mocne Strong Beer...

Next, with Gracie, my twenty-first brew from Toronto, Ontario's Blood Brothers Brewing--the 6% Paradise Lost: Strawberry Pineapple Sour Ale...

Got a cloudy and cool walk in with Miss Emma earlier - now prepping lunch and sipping on this nice lager from 3 Floyds - very tasty and affordable - less than a buck a can for the 12 pk at Whole Foods....I will buy again!



throwback pic - found this shot from 2005, hard to imagine this was 21 years ago - an early morning row with the Portage Lakes Rowing group I joined that year - that is me in the very back (front from this perspective) - # 8 power stroke position! Fun times!

 

That’s awesome I cracked open and started my beer and read through the thread to discover the same selection as @BeerVikingSailor .

My selection 1/3 larger, but likely much older, as I still have plenty of beers to clear. This as with most still going well, just a small drop off from crisp.

Hello BAs. A grey 45F day here. As you might predict, this doesn't hinder my tölt going back 'n forth from Ye Oulde Bier Stube. I'm after tooling some wood to complete the next to last phase of my remod room. I'm glad cuz I didn't wanna fire up any whirling blades today but had to. I don't have "a shop" at home with tools permanently set up. My buzz has always been being a mobile, rolling shop with portable power tools.

I hit a local spot for lunch as they were having a 3FLOYDS / Warpigs USA tap takeover.

A Sticke Alt from Warpigs. Really good.

The main course is a turkey rueben with a barrel aged oktoberfest from 3F. Cheers all!

 

I'm back with a Founders Breakfast Stout bottled August 4th. I sure do like it with some age on it.
