Golden, salty, buttery. Hits the spot.

 

3 Floyds Quaanto on draft at Crafty Chameleon. Triple IPA. Starting the weekend aggressively.

Buddy of mine went to Vermont last weekend and returned bearing gifts. It's only been a couple months since I've had a heady, but, man, this is drinking great. Cheers!

 

Next up is Galaxy Especial Mexican lager from Mount Olympus Brewing. It's not too bad. Maybe a bit, like, lemony or something.

Taking life in the slow lane today after yesterday's road trip up to Lassen Volcanic National Park and then down to Chico for a lovely meal and brews at Sierra Nevada. The ranger we spoke with said they normally would have 9-10 feet of snow piled up against the Visitor Center but that spring has come early. The park does not plow the road above the VC which is at about 5500 feet.
Enjoying some in your face Simcoe hops courtesy of the Russian River team, this is a solid flavorful brew at 5.4%.
